Sunrise Ridge Resort, Parksville BC
Our team had the privilege of executing hydroseeding services at the scenic Sunrise Resort located in Parksville, British Columbia. This initiative was carried out in partnership with Aslan Ventures, combining our expertise and resources to enhance the resort’s landscapes. Hydroseeding, a highly efficient seeding process, was employed to ensure rapid vegetation growth, contributing to the resort’s greenery and aesthetic appeal.
Trans Mountain Expansion Project
Raincoast was contracted to oversee the reclamation and earthwork on the Transmountain Expansion Project. Throughout this project, Raincoast’s primary role was ensuring safe and effective ESC implementation such as geotextile installations, hydroseeding and drainage management.
BC Timber Sales: Colbourne Creek Erosion Control
Significant erosion and sedimentation were affectng a road system near Colbourne Creek. Raincoast applied an interior forestland mix and a bonded fiber matrix mulch that was hydraulically applied to the steep slopes adjacent to the roadside.

Darcy’s dedication to restoring the environment started with his upbringing on beautiful Vancouver Island. This has continued through his extensive industrial reclamation, erosion and sediment control experience throughout Western Canada. With an infectious drive for work and attention to detail, Darcy instills passion in all our projects. Innovation is top of mind, and he ensures Raincoast is leading edge in all aspects of our business, making sure customer satisfaction is our priority.
Jake Wall Operations Manager
Jake’s leadership style reinforces his passion for people and projects. Daily he is overseeing projects, consulting with clients, and planning in the office. Jake’s background in forest ecology and industrial project management, has made him a great fit to run our operations.
